Joe Thomas comes in at outside centre, with Harri Millard moving to inside centre. Reuben Morgan-Williams and Bryce Morgan get their first start at scrum half and lock respectively.

Wales beat Ireland 35-24 last Friday night, while Scotland beat England for the first time (24-6).

Strange said, “We are very pleased with our performance and result against Ireland. Scoring four tries away from home is a great platform to build on and we want to continue in that attacking vein this weekend.

“Scotland were excellent last weekend so we have no illusions about the task ahead. Although we have looked at Scotland’s game, it’s important we concentrate on our own performance.

“We are looking forward to returning to Eirias, we always have a fantastic welcome there and the crowd will no doubt give the players a boost.”

Adam Beard, Jarrod Evans and Owen Watkin have been called up by their Regions this weekend.

Strange added: “The players called up will benefit from regional rugby and it provides the opportunity for others to step up at this level. Five of our matchday squad are still qualified to play Under 18 rugby so this experience will stand them in good stead going forward. There is a huge amount of cooperation between coaches at the various age grades now so we know the development stage of the players available to us.”
