This person will have overall responsibility for the elite female players in Wales from performance to lifestyle management.
They will co-ordinate the scheme across the country as well as fulfilling the role of National Squad fitness advisor.
He or she will liase with the National Accreditation Centre who oversee the delivery of the elite programme through the medium of NVQ’s and ensure the relevant modules are delivered to the necessary players at the required standard.
At present this is a part time post with the likelihood being a full time role next season (2003/4). There is office space available at Coleg Gwent in Newport.
Potential candidates should have suitable fitness qualifications and have experience of working with elite athletes.
