Wales Students and Wales Women will bring a tremendous weekend of Welsh rugby to a close when they take on their English counterparts at Newport and Aberavon respectively.
After what will hopefully be wins for Wales U20 and Rob Howley’s senior side on Friday night and Saturday respectively, the Students take centre stage at the home of the Newport Gwent Dragons at 1pm followed by Wales Women at Talbot Athletic Ground at 2.30.

Last year saw England Students secure a comfortable win but after training together since early January, Wales are determined to make it two wins on the bounce.
“We’ve had some late problems with injuries but we’ve named a strong side and are looking forward to the game,” said Wales Students team manager Adrian Evans.
“England got the better of us last year but if we repeat the performance we showed against Germany then we are more than capable of getting the result.
“Our fitness in particular was key against Germany and hopefully we’ll use that to our advantage.”

Wales Women are seeking a win over England at Aberavon on Sunday to ensure there are no last minute nerves for qualification for next year’s World Cup in France.
Wales have already achieved their pre-campaign goal of two victories in the Six Nations, however Italy’s surprise form in the championship has put a cat among the pigeons.
Wales’ win against Scotland last Sunday has now edged them in front of Italy for the last automatic spot up for grabs in the race for qualification for next year’s World Cup.
“Italy still have an outside chance of overturning that but they would have to beat Ireland this weekend and we would have to concede an avalanche of points against England,” said Wales Women head coach Rhys Edwards.
“But our mindset is to go out and beat England. We played well against Ireland in our first game at Talbot Athletic Ground to lose by only two points. The following week they then beat England by 25-0. We’ve just to go for it.”
