Last season the teams drew 0-0 and it looked as though the game was heading for another scoreless result at half time as the two teams tackled hard and defended their lines well.
The second half however saw West Wales take advantage of the overlap and winger Hayley Miller romped home from sixty yards to break the deadlock. Moments later Hooker Claire Thomas was driven over the line to give the West team the title.
The West beat North Wales Under 16’s a fortnight ago 22-5 in Bala. The North will now play the East at Sardis Road on the 27th April before the Wales Under 16 squad is selected for the summer camp at the Welsh Institute of Sport.
