Although things are rough in welsh rugby at the moment, and we got the wooden spoon at the six nations it should be remembered that we came damn close to beating England. If the ball had bounced our way, if the ref had been looking during the high tackle, if a certain welsh player hadn’t had a moment of one-upmanship, we could have won!
Could have, but didn’t. But, and its a big But, we competed equally with the worlds best team and only lost due to the bounce of the ball.
With this in mind we CAN and SHOULD be able to compete equally again, and if the ball bounces our way this time, well………..

I know I haven’t got a very welsh name – you can blame my great-grandfather for that! – But I reckon the blood from my two welsh grandmothers cancels out the Italian.
