Ireland ran in eight tries, but luckily their goal-kicking was not as successful. Wales gained just one try – by wing Marcus Johnstone (Cwmcarn HS), who had gained a hat-trick against Italy earlier this season.

The only other score by Wales was a penalty goal kicked by fly half Emyr Williams (Coleg Sir Gar). There is expected to be several changes made before their match against England Schools on April 24.
