The Ospreys back row man wants to see his team raise the bar once again against Georgia to take them into the final game of the series against Australia next week with two wins from three.
“We’ve got to make sure we start well, do everything right and not let them into the game with our mistakes. We want to keep the momentum going after the Argentina game,” said Tipuric.
“The Georgians are big physical men, and they have a very good set-piece. They are just getting better and better all the time.
“Their players are playing in the top leagues now and that’s only going to make them better. They are a tough, nitty gritty team and if you let them into the game, they are going to stay there all game.”
Tipuric is the only survivor from the starting back row from the 20-13 win over the Pumas. Dan Lydiate is out with a broken forearm, while Taulupe Faletau drops to the bench. That means Jac Morgan joins him along with new cap Josh Macleod.
Macleod was picked to play for Wales against Scotland last year, but ruptured his Achilles tendon in training a few days before the game. He will wear the No 8 shirt against the Georgians.
“It’s horrible what has happened to Josh in the past, but it just shows his resilience, his attitude and the type of person he is to just keep coming back no matter what,” said Tipuric.
“I’m looking forward to going out there with him and Jac (Morgan) on Saturday. We’ve all got to complement each other and work hard for each other.”
