After a 7 week break for both teams this was always going to be a hard game. Tylorstown opened the scoring with a try in the first few minutes, but Blaenau came back to score three tries and a conversion before the break.
Tylorstown also scored another try which was converted, leaving the score at 17 – 12 at the interval. The second half was started in high spirits as a member of both sides were sin binned very soon after the re – start.
Although Tylorstown kept the pressure on Blaenau went on to score a further three tries. Final score 32 – 12 with players of the match going to Steph Turnbull and Claire Jones.
