Wales Students Trials – Update

All players that have returned forms should have received an email with information on the trial and directions to Llanrumney. 

If you haven’t registered yet but would like to trial, please come along on Saturday at 10am.
Please bring:

 Full training kit including protective wear (gum shield, pads, scrum cap)
 Packed lunch
 Water bottle (we do not provide these due to health and safety issues)
 Pad and Pen
 A cheque for £10 made payable to the ‘WWRU’

The format of the day will involve some ‘games for understanding’ to include skill development, fitness and game specific work. 

There will be a physio present but they are there to treat any injuries on the day.  If you require strapping, please bring this with you. 

The squad will be selected on Monday 22nd November and posted on the WRU website (click on women’s rugby).  Training and match details will then be emailed to those successful players.

Directions:
M4 to Junction 32 and follow signs to Cardiff City Centre. Continue down dual carriage way to lights where ‘East’ pub is situated on the roundabout in the middle of the traffic lights. Stay in the middle lane, bear round to the right and stay left – do not go over the fly over. First left at roundabout and continue on dual carriageway for 2 miles taking the next left exit to Cardiff East/Docks/Llanederyn. At roundabout, take 3rd exit, stay left to next roundabout and left again up Rumney Hill. Go through 2 sets of pedestrian lights and turn left 20 yards after the 3rd set of lights. 4th left in to Ball Rd, at the bottom of the hill turn left in to Hartland Rd. After 500 yds, turn right at the end of the houses. After 200 yds, turn left in to the playing fields.
