Wales head coach, Siwan Lillicrap said the match offers a fantastic opportunity for the squad to put into practice all the hard work they’ve put in over the past four weeks and to test their progress.
“It has been an intense period of learning, growth, and development, but the players have handled it exceptionally well,” she said.
“Experiences like this are crucial in a player’s journey. Traveling as a team, training, competing, and returning together provides valuable exposure to the demands of professional rugby.
“We have selected a squad of 25 players who will compete in three 25-minute games. Every player will have the chance to showcase their abilities and gain an international rugby experience.”
The squad features a mix of experience, with returning players such as Shanelle Williams, Crystal James, Isla McMullen, Jorja Aiono, Katie Johnson, and Lily Hawkins – who were all part of last year’s Wales U18 Six Nations squad – alongside exciting new talents with huge potential.
