I have received fantastic support from the directors, team management and the coaching staff and I’m looking forward to repaying some of that faith between now and the end of the season. I love playing rugby, I love playing for the Ospreys and I am looking forward to facing the Borders.”
Both teams are desperate for a win and how easily Henson fits back into the side may be crucial in deciding who takes the points in this vital showdown. The Ospreys have a remarkable ten players unavailable, including Adam Jones, Duncan Jones and Shane Williams who are currently with the Wales squad as well as suspended Ian Evans. Johnny Vaughton, Barry Williams, Brent Cockbain, Paul James, Brent Cockbain, David Bishop and Ryan Jones all miss out through injury. However Jonathan Thomas will return, after missing Wales’ first two games of the Six Nations with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile their Scottish opponents make just one change from the side that lost to Leinster. Samoan back-row forward Semo Sititi is recovering from corrective knee surgery and is replaced by Andy Rennick. Borders head coach Steve Bates said; “This game is going to be one of the biggest games of the season for us.”
Several internationals will return for the Borders which comes as a boost to the Scottish side as they aim to take all the points back across the border.
