In the forwards, David Maddocks and Gethin Robinson start at loose head and tight head prop respectively while there is an all new second row with Bryn Griffiths and Peter Sidoli starting.

Jamie Ringer moves over to open side flanker with Rhys Oakley coming in at blindside. Michael Owen will captain the side.

Looking ahead to Saturday’s game, Head Coach Paul Turner commented: “Saturday’s match comes after an intense week and we feel we have a few players challenging for spots in the team. We have huge respect for the Scarlets but we don’t aim to go to Stradey to make up the numbers. Our pride is on the line and we expect the side to give a good account of themselves.”
