Wales Women’s Six Nations journey

Wales Women began their Six Nations campaign - eventually - against France. Delayed by snowbound UK, Carys Phillips' side arrived in France only a matter of hours before kick-off.

Fast-improving Italy were the opponents in the second round of the Six Nations. At the end of an enthralling encounter, the teams couldn’t be separated.

The first home game of the campaign saw England cut loose at Cardiff Arms Park to continue their dominance over Wales in recent years.

Wales left it late, very late, to record their first win of the campaign with a last-gasp conversion by Lleucu George ensuring a 15-17 victory.

Wales completed the Six Nations with a rousing victory against Ireland at Cardiff Arms Park to sign of the campaign in style.
