Wales Rallies Behind Women’s Rugby Heroes!
As the Rugby World spotlight shines ever brighter, a powerful campaign is calling on supporters across Wales—and beyond—to show their pride for the Wales Women’s team in a celebration of unity, strength, and history in the making.
The first occasion where supporters can Wear Coach for Cymru is at the open training session on the 12th of August 2025, as they gear up for the biggest year in their history. Held at Cardiff Arms Park, the free–to-attend, send-off’ event promises to be a vibrant celebration of women’s rugby.
📣 From Monday 18th to Friday 22nd August, everyone is invited to WearRed—a bold colour that represents the heart, fire, and resilience of Welsh rugby. Whether it’s your rugby club/hub, workplace, community group, or squad of mates, join the movement and show your support with a splash of scarlet before Wales kick off their Rugby World Cup against Scotland on Saturday 23rd August Ko14:15.
🎥 Then, channel your inner superfan and send a video of your crew dressed in red to @welshrugbyunion, proudly tagging #HerStory and #StrengthInBloom to amplify the message. These videos could become part of a dazzling tribute to the women flying the dragon during their special shirt presentation the evening before the Rugby World Cup and the players take to the world stage.
This isn’t just about rugby. It’s about legacy, empowerment, and making sure the roar of support for Wales Women is heard far and wide. The #HerStory campaign honours the pioneers and powerhouses who’ve shaped the game, while #StrengthInBloom celebrates the rising force of women’s sport in full flourish.
🌺 Whether you’re wearing red, waving your flag, or shouting from the rooftops, every show of support makes a difference. Let’s make the start of the Rugby World Cup unforgettable. Let’s write Her Story together.
