Alun Wyn capped a fine tour of Australia with the British & Irish Lions in 2013 by skippering the side to victory in the final Test in Sydney, bringing his total of Lions caps to six, adding to three won in South Africa in 2009.
He made his international debut in Argentina in 2006. He played in three tests in each of the 2008 and 2012 Grand Slam wins and three more in the Championship winning season of 2013. He featured in all seven of Wales’ RWC 2011 games.
Alun Wyn Jones was named tour captain of Wales' 32-man squad to tour South Africa in the summer of 2014.
