Andy Lloyd
Swansea born Andrew Lloyd joined the Ospreys in November 2003 on a three year contract. Lloyd had missed a great deal of the two previous seasons due to injury, subsequent to a prolapsed disc in his spine.
Previously of Bath Rugby, Lloyd has represented his country playing in the Wales Development XV and playing for the U21 side. He has one senior cap for Wales, gained in the 64-10 victory over Japan in 2001 in which he scored a debut try.
Lloyd incurred a medial ligament strain in September 2006 but recovered to make a replacement appearance in the Ospreys’ historic win over Australia two months later. He made a total of twenty appearances during the 2006–2007 season, scoring three tries throughout the season.
Lloyd sustained concussion in April 2007 after colliding with teammate Steve Tandy in the Magners League clash with Munster. However, he recovered to make two appearances at the close of the season in May 2007.
