James made his Wales debut on the tour to Argentina in 2006 after bursting onto the international scene for Wales Sevens, helping them to the Plate medal at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
He is third in the all time points scorers list behind Neil Jenkins and Stephen Jones.
He was an ever present in the Grand Slam side of 2008, played three times in the 2012 Slam and won three further caps as the Championship was retained in 2013.
