King featured for Wales at U20 and U18 level and made his senior international debut in 2013 on Wales' summer tour to Japan.
King played both tests for Wales in Osaka and Tokyo. He was a constant squad member over the next few campaigns but had to wait until the autumn of 2014 to add to his international tally.
King was part of Wales extended training squad for the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and was named in Wales 31-man squad for the tournament He played in Wales' opening match of that campaign against Uruguay.
