Lee Williams
Williams has previously represented Wales at U18 and U19 levels, and has also appeared as a U19 Sevens player. He was an influential member of the triumphant Welsh side which claimed the World Cup Sevens title in Dubai in 2009.
He received a call up to the Wales Sevens squad for participation in the 2006–2007 IRB Sevens World Series. Williams scored a try in the Bowl Final victory against Tonga in Adelaide and also made a scoring appearance in the Pool stage match against France at the close of the Series at Murrayfield.
Williams was named in the Wales Sevens squad ahead of the 2007–2008 IRB Sevens World Series. He impressed during the Dubai Sevens, scoring two tries against the USA and one against Samoa in the Pool stages, and a try against Australia in the Bowl semi-final that Wales narrowly lost.
Williams retained his place in the squad for the USA and New Zealand legs of the Series, to be played in February 2008. Since then he has been a valuable member of the Wales Sevens side.
He was also part of the Wales Sevens side which competed in the Delhi Commonwealth Games.
