Ashley was an ever present on Wales’ tour of Australia in 2012, but prior to the Dove Men Series in 2013, his only other cap came in the defeat against Samoa at the Millennium Stadium in 2012.
He progressed through the WRU Ospreys academy system and was an integral part of both the Aberavon team in the Principality Premiership and the Wales Sevens squad before establishing himself in the senior Ospreys side.
