Alongside young Dragons back row Taine Basham, Lake was called into the 2020 Wales Six Nations squad having previously trained with the national squad before being formally called into the squad. He had to wait until the first round of the 2022 Guinness Six Nations before earning his first cap, against Ireland in Dublin.
The hooker from Ospreys completed two Six Nations campaign at U20 level, and led his side to victory against New Zealand in Argentina en route to Wales finishing sixth in the U20 World Rugby Championship in 2019.
Club wise he has played for Bridgend Ravens, Neath and Swansea and also represented Ospreys East U16 and Ospreys Developement in his early days.
Has represented Wales and Great Britain in gymnastics.
