Ioan Lloyd
Cap No 1164
Former Glantaf pupil Ioan Lloyd became Bristol’s youngest-ever player in the English Premiership when, aged 18, he came on as a replacement against Bath and marked the occasion with a try in front of a sellout, 26,000-capacity Ashton Gate in November 2019.
He was a standout player with Clifton College and the Academy U18s and Wales U18s before he signed professional terms with Bristol Bears ahead of the 2019/20 Gallagher Premiership campaign.
He made his Wales U20 debut as a full back in the second round of the 2020 Six Nations and eight months later was called up to Wayne Pivac’s senior squad for the 2020 autumn campaign.
He played his junior rugby for St Peters, CRICC, Cardiff Schools and the Cardiff Blues U16s, before moving over the bridge to Clifton College.
