Glyneath born and bred, Williams started playing when he was six. His father was his coach there andhe stayed there until he was 16, when he joined the Ospreys academy.
Williams represented Wales as a U20 international and made his debut for the Ospreys regional team in 2018 against Zebre. A powerful and compact runner, he has often been compared to the former Wales and British & Irish Lions centre Scott Gibbs in the way he plays the game.
