Converted from a prop into the back row, Martin can slot into either the number six or eight jersey.
The Cardiff academy product received his first call-up into the Wales Under 20 squad ahead of the 2022 U20 Six Nations Summer Series in Italy.
The physical back five forward represented Cardiff RFC on their way to finishing the regular 2022/23 season as the highest placed team, before losing the final to Llandovery.
The No 8 made his European debut against five-time champions Toulouse as as a 20-year-old in December 2023 for Cardiff Rugby.
