Edwards’ side take on Zebre on the back of a heavy defeat to Glasgow last Friday and will be looking to bounce back against their Italian opposition.
Centre Adam Hughes changes roles and moves to the wing alongside Hallam Amos. Meanwhile Ashley Smith, Wayne Evans and Phil Price all start in their usual positions.
The men of Gwent will try out a different centre pairing with Pat Leach and Ashley Smith and will be hoping to repeat their 53-3 victory over the Italian side at Rodney Parade earlier this season.
“We know what Zebre are about and we played them at the start of the season. They have improved as the season has gone on, especially up front,” said Phil Price who starts on the loose head.
“We have to think of ourselves and make sure that we put a good performance in.”
Personally, Price is looking to maintain his recent level of performance.
“I have come back with a more positive attitude to regain my place and try to keep it,” he added.
“I have worked hard this week. We have pulled tighter as a unit and we are all looking forward to the Zebre game and putting in a good performance.”
On the bench, Rob Sidoli makes a welcome return and sits alongside Owen Evans, Dan Way, Jonathan Evans, Tom Prydie and Jack Dixon who have all been changed from the previous line-up.
