The match was dominated by the boot with Dan Biggar and Stephen Jones both kicking three penalties for their sides.

It was the first time the Ospreys had failed to beat the Scarlets at the Liberty Stadium in the RaboDirect PRO12 competition but the points were enough to see the Ospreys stay at the top of the table, but they are now joined by Leinster level on 26 points.

Biggar and Jones both missed their first shots at goal inside the opening 10 minutes.

Jones was then sent to the sin-bin and Biggar kicked the resulting penalty to give his side the lead and that’s how the first half ended.

Two minutes after the interval Jones levelled the scores with his first penalty before Biggar kicked two of his own in quick succession.

Jones then narrowed the deficit as the game entered the final quarter and the Wales fly-half then levelled the scores two minutes from time.
