The Welsh region fielded a youthful side against Wasps and bounced back from defeat to Bath last weekend to claim their first victory in this season’s LV = Cup.

The Dragons set a new record as 17 year-old Hallam Amos became the youngest Welsh player to play regional rugby and the full-back capped his debut in style with one of the visitors’ two tries.

In an end to end game in High Wycombe the hosts outscored the Dragons four tries to two, but 20 points from the boot of the impressive Jones secured the win.

Phil Price also scored for the Dragons as they beat the English Premiership side coached by Welsh duo Dai Young and former Dragons director of rugby Paul Turner.
