The reigning U18 Reebok Regional Champions, the Ospreys U18 kicked off their season with a consummate 31-3 victory over the Dragons U18 at Llandarcy Academy. A try hat-trick from Kristian Phillips won the day.

The talented centre crowned his return to full fitness with a three-try performance as Ashley Beck and Ryan Bayliss also crossed for tries for the with Matthew Jarvis converting three of the five scores to complete the rout.

The Dragons U18, who trailed 12-0 at the interval, kicked a penalty courtesy of Danny Ellis in the second half, but had no answer to a slick looking Ospreys U18 side.
