Jones gave a man-of-the-match performance as the hosts secured the points through tries from Filo Tiatia, Gareth Owen and Jamie Nutbrown.
But the Ospreys leader, who will resume the Wales captaincy for this summer’s tour to North America at a lunchtime announcement today, opted to focus only on his regional team-mates after ending their home campaign on a high.
Jones, 28 said: “I only ever give 100 per cent when I go on the field but it was a good performance from everyone and I’m fortunate to play in such a great team.
“It was a great spectacle for the supporters in our last home game of the season, the sun is shining and both teams tried to play attacking rugby.”
Ospreys fly-half James Hook scored 19 points but Glasgow played their part with a brace of tries from Samoan wing Lome Fa’atau and Argentine Bernardo Stortoni.
However, an entertaining contest was soured by Irish referee George Clancy’s decision to award five yellow cards with Glasgow’s Justin Va’a, John Welsh and Moray Low joining Ospreys’ duo Paul James and Marty Holah on the sidelines.
