Crys I bawb

At the Welsh Rugby Union we are truly passionate and committed to providing #RugbyForAll

Our Inclusion team works primarily within the community game to ensure anyone who wants to participate in our sport, in whatever format that might be, has the opportunity. It is our job to provide equitable outcomes.

The WRU Inclusion team works across the following areas of focus: Ethnically Diverse Communities, Disability, Social Isolation and LGBTQ+

The WRU’s focus over the last 5 years has been around providing positive rugby experiences for people with disabilities. What we will see going forward is a more cohesive drive to engage people from non-traditional rugby areas or communities, to show that our national sport is for all of our nation.

There is a lot of work going on already and much more to come, so it is important to create a Game Locker hub for all inclusion formats, projects and programmes, so we can signpost individuals and groups to those areas and provide information and updates on what is going on in the inclusion space to the wider community.
