WRU Stay Onside - Anti Doping training

The WRU Stay Onside Programme is a suite of education delivered to Players, Coaches, Athlete Support personnel and Parents/ Guardians (Dewar Shield) at the start of every season.  Each session covers Anti-Doping (Clean Sport), Betting & Anti-corruption, Discipline and behaviour expectations to uphold the values of our game.

The WRU provide FREE Stay Onside Education to the Rugby Community across Wales. We talk about ways to minimise and mitigate risk, and the consequences if unfortunately a player or ASP receive an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV).  This session also covers Betting & Anti-corruption regulations relevant to Rugby Union, and our expectations around Discipline in our game.

Please note for 2024/25 season, all those playing in the National Senior and Age Grade Teams, URC including regional Academies, Super Rygbi Cymru (SRC) and Community Premiership are required to attend this compulsory Training. We also deliver to Celtic Challenge Teams.

At a community Rugby Level, we deliver in person sessions to Dewar Shield and U18 Academy Championship.

If you are in one of the groups above, you will require this annual education as early into the season as possible to minimise risk.  Please complete the form below to provide details which will enable our Integrity Education Team to book in your session.

If you are a community Rugby Club which sits below Community Premiership and would like to request an inperson session, please also explain why in the form below and we will be in touch.

Please allow up to 45 minutes for this education and ensure a suitable room with presenting facilities is available.
