A product of New Dock Stars RFC, Thomas is a natural born leader, having captained both the Scarlets and Wales at Under 18 level.
A former Coleg Sir Gar pupil, he made his senior Scarlets debut as an 18-year-old when coming on as a second half replacement against Munster in February 2024 in the United Rugby Championship clash at Parc y Scarlets, which was a fallow week in the U20 Six Nations championship.
He was part of the victorious Llandovery side which won the 2024 Indigo Premiership final against Newport at Church Bank.
