Jac follows in the footsteps of his older brother Tom who represented Wales at U20 level. Born and raised from Llandybie, the Welsh speaking prop is a former Coleg Sir Gar pupil. He lives on the family dairy farm.

He began playing as a seven-year-old for his local club Llandybie as a hooker before moving to Llandeilo U14s.

He attended Coleg Sir Gar and represented Scarlets U18s for two seasons, also winning Wales U18 honours. He is currently on a senior academy contract with the Scarlets.

He is currently studying Sport conditioning and rehab massage at Cardiff Met where he plays fo the university in the BUCS and Welsh Championship.
