The apprentice electrician began his playing career as a centre at Pontarddulais Comprehensive School.
Whilst playing for Loughor RFC, schoolboy rugby with Gower College and the Ospreys academy, he has previously played in the back row before moving to the front row.
He is currently an Ospreys academy prospect and played for Wales U18s in France in 2022.
He was also a tidy footballer – he was a striker for Llanelli Football Academy until Year 7.
He lists former Wales prop Paul James as someone he looked up to coming through the ranks – ironically James is now his coach at the Ospreys.
