Started playing rugby as a six-year-old at Llandaff RFC, before playing for Newport U11s and Bassaleg Comprehensive and Newport Schools.
He was picked up by the Dragons when spotted at an open touch session and then also played for Gloucester Hartpury in the ACE league where he played for two years. He is currently studying accounting and finance at Cardiff Met and plays for Newport in the Indigo Premiership.
He has played for Wales U18s and was a bronze medalist in judo in Wales as an 11-year-old and also played cricket for Gwent.
