Rhys Davies
Began playing as an eight-year-old at Milford Haven before moving to Neyland. He represented Pembrokeshire U15s and Scarlets West U16s and also played for Wales U16s. He then moved to Llanelli where he played for Coleg Sir Gar and then gained Wales U18 honours.
He has played for Carmarthen Quins in the Principality Premiership who were coached by Richard Kelly, the current forwards coach of Wales U20.
The looshead prop has been heavily involved in some of Wales’ biggest wins at age grade level – he was in the Wales U18 side which recorded a rare victory against England at Ebbw Vale in 2017 and South Africa later in the same year and he was integral in the victories at U20 level against Australia in the U20 World Rugby Championship in 2018 and a last gasp win against England in the 2019 Six Nations.
Surprisingly released by the Scarlets after the 2018 U20 World Rugby Championship, he then crossed the Loughor Bridge to join the Ospreys.
