Round Up: Principality Premiership

Aberavon and Llanelli produced the match of the day with a ten-try thriller that finished 34-34. Back-rower Richard Morris scored his one hundred and twenty-sixth try for the Wizards, breaking an eighty-five-year-old record, but winger Daran Griffiths isn’t far behind him as he scored his one hundred and twenty-fifth. Aberavon fly-half Jamie Davies missed a penalty goal and had two dropped-goal attempts charged down in the frenetic final minutes.

Pontypridd out-scored Bedwas four tries to two, but had to settle for a twenty-seven all draw as Bedwas centre Phil Dolman kicked six goals.

Cross Keys edged past Cardiff 12-8, while Glamorgan Wanderers were too good for Maesteg in a 21-10 win.

Bottom-placed Llandovery gave their home fans plenty to cheer about with a stunning 25-13 upset over third-placed Newport. Centre John Elrick was an easy choice as man-of-the-match by scoring all twenty-five points for the winners.
