A record attendance for a summer test witnessed Wales clinch their biggest victory over England in 24 years as Warren Gatland’s side continued their preparations for the World Cup in New Zealand.
Argentina, who finished third in the 2007 tournament, are the visitors to Cardiff this weekend as the squad are put through their paces for a final time before the 30-man squad for the World Cup is announced.
And Edwards, who believes the crowd more than played their part in Saturday’s victory has urged them to send the squad off to the World Cup in style.
“On Saturday that crowd was just sensational,” said the Welsh defence coach.
“When we were out there defending our line, they were right behind us, cheering every tackle and that lifted the whole team.
“And if we can get that kind of support there on Saturday that would be fantastic.
“Argentina are going to be a big challenge and they are a strong side, so it would be great to have that support behind us.
“In my opinion there is no place in sport like the Millennium Stadium. When the roof is closed and you have the Welsh supporters cheering you on it is fantastic and hopefully the crowd can replicate that again this weekend.
