But while Jones edged closer to the milestone with nine points in the win over Northampton Saints, Scarlets Director of Rugby Gareth Jenkins is calling for a big improvement.
“I think there is more to come from us and we know that we have to grow as the tournament progresses – we have got a game we can improve on.
“We’ve already played Borders in the Celtic League, but I think they will have better balance to their side with their World Cup players back. It will be a completely different game and challenge to our earlier match this season.
There was a lot of pressure on us to win this game and we have got to be more composed and comfortable when the game isn’t going exactly to plan.”
