Second-placed Neath take on third-placed Carmarthen Quins at the Gnoll. The Welsh All Blacks scraped out a 11-10 success last week against lowly Llandovery and they will have to show better form against a Quins outfit looking for their 50th league try of the season. Neath won easily when the sides met in Carmarthen earlier in the season, crossing for four unanswered tries in a 31-3 success.
Aberavon could move up a place if they beat visitors Llandovery at the Athletic Ground. The Wizards are enjoying a good season and defeated the Drovers 25-13 in their earlier meeting when ace wing Lenny Woodard scored one of their three tries.
Bedwas are having an inconsistent season and the visit of Cross Keys could provide another stern test. Just two points separated the clubs at Pandy Park with Keys edging home 26-24 but Bedwas did win the try count 3-2 on that occasion and it could be another close encounter.
Cardiff and Swansea meet at the Arms Park with the Blue and Blacks having a torrid season. The All Whites romped to a 45-3 success at St Helen’s when the sides had their first meeting and crossed the Cardiff line six times. The capital city side were thrashed by Llanelli last week and they could really do with a victory to put their season back on course.
Bridgend meet a Llanelli outfit trying desperately to move away from the bottom of the division. That big win against Cardiff last week will give the Scarlets confidence but Bridgend will be looking for the double after winning 25-16 at Stradey. Newbridge and Caerphilly meet at the Welfare Ground with the Castletown Men confident after their 23-14 victory at Virginia Park, while Pontypool entertain Pontypridd looking to put one over their visitors after losing 30-22 at Sardis Road.
