The Welsh side travel to Ireland to face the reigning Celtic Challenge champions and the top of the table Wolfhounds, looking for a first win of this campaign.
It’s the second of back-to-back games against the Wolfhounds before Brython Thunder complete the first block of league fixtures.
Welsh international Natalia John captains the side for the fifth successive time and is partnered by Wales U20s lock Robyn Davies in the second row.
Thunder have made six changes, three positionally, to the starting line-up in Dublin.
Welsh international Niamh Terry moves to full back, while Wales U20s fly half Hanna Marshall starts at number 10 and partners Seren Singleton at half-back.
Hannah Lane moves to wing, and Ellie Tromans to centre and partners Welsh international Hannah Bluck in midfield.
Evie Gill is named at hooker and Finley Jones comes in at blindside flanker.
Wales centre Meg Webb was not considered for selection due to work commitments.
Ashley Beck, head coach of Brython Thunder, said: “We know the task ahead of us against the reigning champions, Wolfhounds, and what to expect in their own backyard.
“This is a young and new-look Brython Thunder team for this campaign and we learnt a lot about ourselves and the demands of Celtic Challenge rugby against the same opposition last weekend.
“As coaches and players, we know the challenge we face against a side full of internationals, but our job is to focus on ourselves, concentrate on our roles and to keep improving as a side out in Ireland.”
